Captain David Evans

Dave has spent a total of 26 years at sea including 5 years as Master. He presently works in the UK as a marine pilot at a major port.

He has sea-going experience on gas carriers, David Evansproducts & crude tankers, diamond dredgers, port dredgers, heavy lift vessels and cross-channel ferries.

He holds a Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Master Mariner) and an HND in Nautical Science which was obtained at John Moores University, Liverpool.

Dave has been working as a consultant in the inshore & offshore industries both domestic passenger & workboat marine sector & windfarm & offshore construction industries for the last 15 years, training, collating safety management systems, risk analysis and maintenance systems.

He specialises in all aspects of training, lifting operations and offshore installations, salvage, wreck removal and pollution.

Captain Paul Haworth 

Paul left the sea having sailed as Captain on a variety of offshore dive support vessels to progress with a career as a Maritime Solicitor .

During his career he has sailed on LPG carriers, cruise liners and ferries, before Paul Haworthmoving in to the offshore sector specialising in the dynamic positioning (DP) market.

Paul holds a Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Master Mariner) and an HND in Nautical Science which was obtained at South Tyneside Nautical College. Paul has since gone on to complete a postgraduate diploma in law at a London law school and after excelling in this sector is now a partner of a major maritime law firm in London.

He specialises in all aspects of maritime Law, Contract, brokerage, cargo claims and salvage.

Julia Cornah

Julia is the Founder & Managing Director and driving force behind Manone Medical/Medrescue.

The Med team includes Julia, Dr Hughes, an A & E Doctor (ex Army Doctor of 2 Helmand tours) and her team of rescue Paramedics.

Julia is incredibly passionate about Marine medical treatment/training being an avid sailor herself, she Julia Cornahknows first hand, the problems experienced by Mariners, at sea without close hospital, services to hand.  As a specialist paramedic and trainer in the NHS her enthusiasm in training, leaves a lasting impact on our students and makes their actions instinctive, when a crisis occurs at sea.

Julia is a qualified paramedic (Dip HE Paramedic Practice).  Julia has thrived academically, gaining a First Class Bsc Hons. Clinical & Professional Practice, she is now studying a Masters in Critical Care and will be undertaking a PhD in September at Edge Hill University, Liverpool.

Julia has had works published in the Journal of Paramedic Practice, and is currently undertaking research in the area of education frameworks for Healthcare Professionals.
